Day 02: Get ready for your Tour to Abu Simbel Temple which contains two temples; Temple of Queen Nefertari and the other one is Temple of Ramses II. The impressive two temples were originally carved out of the living rock during the reign of Ramses II. The Great Temple at Abu Simbel took about twenty years to build and was dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty and Ptah, while The Small Temple or the temple of Hathor and Nefertari was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Rameses II’s wife, Nefertari. This was only the second temple in all Egyptian history to be dedicated to a queen
