Travel overnight to Mount Sinai, where a Bedouin guide will take you up the mountain to watch the sun rise. Visit Saint Catherine’s, one of the oldest Christian monasteries in operation.
A look inside the church of St Catherine’s is included in the tour, which has many artworks and mosaics. There are many manuscripts and scrolls in the library (second largest only to the Vatican) of the monastery, something that you can never encounter anywhere else in the world.
You can also see the 9 bells housing the bell tower and the well of Moses that is connected to an underground spring.
On the inside of the defensive wall of the monastery, the Fatimid mosque, you will see the “Monks cells” and then you will see the well-tended gardens and the cemetery outside the walls.
